The Settings tab controls load balancer access, database sizing, and deletion.
Load balancers
Enable a load balancer to expose your database. Endpoints appear in the Connection tab once enabled.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Public load balancer | Exposes the database to the internet via a public IP |
| Private load balancer | Exposes the database within your private network only |
Click Enable next to the appropriate option.
Resize database
You can scale your database up without downtime.
Change plan
- In Settings, click Change Plan.
- Select the new plan.
- Confirm the change. The operation appears in the Operations tab.
Increase storage
- In Settings, click Increase Storage.
- Enter the new storage size.
- Confirm. Storage increases are applied immediately.
Note: Storage can only be increased, not decreased. Plan changes may cause a brief failover on Data Redundancy clusters.
Notes
- Database names cannot be changed after creation.
- Configure backups in the Backups tab.
Delete database
Warning: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All data is lost.
- In Settings, scroll to Danger Zone.
- Click Delete Database.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
